Dyamach + Heiko Design

DS1 Plus is a compact milling machine designed for the dental sector, resulting from the collaboration between Dyamach's experience in designing and producing high precision micro-mechanics and the implementation of the Design Thinking methodology by Heiko design.

This methodology involves the active participation of users at all stages of product development, from conception to design, from prototyping to mass production, promoting a fruitful exchange of information for both parties.

The emotion plays a key role even in highly technical fields, such as dentistry. Creating a product capable of conveying its functional value through a monolithic form and an intuitive interface was an extremely challenging task.

We aimed to develop a simple line adaptable to various usage contexts, yet we also wanted it to feature details that could impart a unique and distinguishable character in the market. DS1 stands out for its innovative design language that communicates solidity and a distinctive character, recognizable by its frontal cut and chromatic contrast.

The result is a machine with an innovative design.

DS1 Plus fully meets the needs of users thanks to the implementation of an integrated ecosystem that includes accessories to facilitate pre and post-process operations.
